Calling all "X's" with a lowered suspension!

My advice would be to first determine what model G35 you have (Coupe, Sedan, AWD). If you've got an AWD, or "X", then go to page 1 of this thread and read the entire thing. I know, I know, there will be work involved. If you've got something else, either go to the Tech section and read up on suspensions, or try using the Search feature and read. When you're done with all that, read some more.

Spacers on x?
I lowered my 08 X over memorial day weekend and am now looking to throw on some wheel spacers...do I need to run the same size spacers on all for corners or can I run 20mm on the rear and 15mm on the front?
I've searched and cannot seem to find the answer
Thanks in advance!

You can run different size spacers front and back, especially when there's just a 5mm difference. I suppose in theory if you had a huge difference in spacer sizes your VDC might kick on during hard cornering, but not in this case.

Just to let you know the fronts wont fit only the rear shocks/struts. If you can get you hands on some g37x fronts they might fit.

i thought u and some other guy on here or nico forum got someone to make a proto type and its made already....
I know you sent out your stuff to a place.
I thought BC and megan racing had some type of proto type.
honestly i dont see what the problem is... use the same spring rate and technology they have now. there is no R and D needed for the rears. The fronts you just need to remove the FORK-like mounting point on the normal cars and either make it so we slide our arm in there. Or they make the unit come with the arm. the technology has been done they just need to adjust the BODY of the strut, nothing techical about it.
-----------
On a side note i'm really mad, in hopes of fixing my problem untill coilovers were made, i bought coupe springs.
It just so happens its 2006 sports coupe springs. when i pulled out my 350z revised rear, i compared and OMG they look exactly the same. I pulled up the thread comparing everything. I saw 2 red and 1 purple on both springs. As it should be revised Z and sports coupe springs SHOULD look the same but the drop should be .5 diffrence. I measured it before installing and they are EXACTLY the same. So i installed and go figure its the same. It didn't raise my car up .5
I got the coupe springs from a local, who i know has the sports coupe with the 19's. So in a sense I just wasted my money buying coupe springs since it didn't help
