curious, those of you running springs, i've finished my bodywork now so i'm probably lowering it this weekend or the weekend after the holiday, but i wanted to know what the availability of front shocks for the x are? i've only looked on summit and jc whitney so far, but i'm only seeing stuff for the coupe/6spd so far.

if anyone can refer me somewhere, it would def. save me some trouble, i anticipate i'll burn through shocks once these are in.

The only thing available for the front is OEM.

thank u. sometimes it gets more attention then it needs lol
I put that on sometimes, cause i park on the streets in NY. and ppl can get wreckless. But they put them selves in check once they have a hole in their bumper =]

They are kyb, but they are just comparable to stock. So if you want to replace your stock struts with the same valving these would be it. They are also cheaper than stock.

I am running the KYB's on my X and with the unrevised 350z springs the ride was terrible!! The car felt like the front end was going to fall apart with every bump I hit. I am now back to the stock X springs and actually like driving my car again.

Here are pics of before and after that show how much of a drop the X gets from the unrevised 350Z springs, and a pic of the KYB strut. The front settled about another 1/4" after driving for a day.

Apintojr is correct. The pics are to show how much of a drop the unrevised springs give the X. Struts do not depict the ride height, Springs do. The KYB's seem to offer a stiffer than stock ride quality. Even with the stock springs back on the front does not absorb larger bumps like it used to. It would be great if the demand were there for KYB to just make these in there AGX line up so we at least would have some adjustability. I will still say that the KYB's are a good budget alternative to buying stock struts from the dealer.
