I've installed a 10-wire grounding kit (from SentientByDesign), and had to get a little creative on the transmission wire. It's attached to a bracket near the bottom driver's side of the pumpkin, which in turn is bolted to the pumpkin itself. The instructions showed it going into a threaded hole somewhere above there, but I couldn't find one. Had to remove the bracket and bolt the end of the wire to it first since the hole in it wasn't threaded. Kind of a PITA, but I think it made a nice, if small, improvement in shifting.

EDIT: BTW, ChicagoX, you're mail box on here was full, so I couldn't reply to the note you sent me.

Please keep me updated. I have been trying to lower my X for a year now. I have seen some good ideas through this forum, but don't want to gamble and run into some problems. I'm wondering though, why are people turning to the coupe springs and setup to lower their X's. I have seen springs for the sedan, why aren't people turning to these for their X's. If anyone has an answer, I would appreciate it. This Tanabe thing looks promising, please let me know if it or any complete aftermarket kit becomes available.
Thanx, Daniel Farley

Your car is looking good. What size tires do you have on those wheels? I am getting a set of the coupe Rays in a few days and need tires. I am planning on using 225/40R19 up front and 255/35R19 in the rear (0.2% difference in circumference) but would like to know what size you are running before I pull the trigger and order tires. I like the look of the amount of sidewall you have with those wheels.

no just run it with your stocks.

if/when they blow then consider new ones. $200 each is a insane price for stock front struts.

My coils were like $1000 which comes with struts and springs. Just food for thought.

They are 225/45 91w. That's everything. They are on TSW Nardos 18X8.

That looks a lot better now you got rid of some wheel space. Glad your happy with the Z/Coupe spring setup It should a little more in about a month. Enjoy!!!

I should of asked you if wanted a sunroof wind visor while you were here. I would at getting an OEM spoiler for your trunk and some clear corners.

Yea I'm loving it! Hopefully the front drops a tad more.

I don't want a sunroof visor, but I'm def looking for a spoiler and clear corners though

Thanks again Jim

so what is the recommended spring combo for an X? Z/Coupe? Coupe/Sports Sedan? I want to eliminate excess wheel gap, not slam it. But, I dont want to screw up my AWD.
