Coilovers are like your stock springs and shock it doesn't matter how much you drop you just have the ability to drop and not worry about blowing out your shock as much. Its all about matching the shock and spring that's all.

I've been on here for about 5 years and waited and waited for coils. BC racing is not the best but I can tell you my car looks good lowered about 2'' all around on my winter setup(coupe 19's) and rides better than stock. If I wanna drive it hard I just make a few clips and stiff as hell and handle as hell.
have you or anyone seen how high we can go... looking at it and trying installing just the rears the highest i can get it up to is like 1.25-1.75 drop from stock so far... maybe it looks more since i just did the rears. i like finger gaps for winter mode more like 2-3 where as stock is like 4-5 fingers.

hey there gang, I am about to get some new sway bars. I just have two questions:
1) what is the downside of stiffer sway bars? as hotchiks has multiple grades.
2) Cusco, Stillen, and Hotchiks all make them. Other than color is there a difference?

Thanks again all!!

With the rears the highest is maybe a 1 finger gap, the fronts I had it up to about 3" over the tire. What I did last winter I took out the rear springs and put my oem springs and struts on took me may 45 mins to do out the rears and the fronts I just adjusted it total time was may 1.5 hours to set it up for winter and the same for the spring.

Even though I still have my X as any everyday driver I am unaware that all those companies make sway bars for the AWD.

Hey there gang,
I just called the guy Tim at BC racing. Seems like a guy in the know. He is looking into seeing if there are any sway bars in the works. I will let you know how it goes.

You guys have a G35X sway bar interest thread floating around, guess this explains why no one is taking any action on it. It won't happen on it's own. You guys deserve much more then just rear bar modding.

thanks, yea i figured so about the rear.

I have my coils off the car and adjusted them. looks like there was a LOT more threads on the front VS the rears. I might have to run what your doing for the winter.

with 18's the highest i can go is about a finger and a half in the rear. you can go much higher in the front. these coils are definitley desgined to go low.

Sorry gang,
Just talked to the guy (Tim) at BC racing. There truly is nothing out there in the way of sway bars for our X's. However, if there is enough demand they will seriously look into designing a set. Just wanted to update y'all.

Btw is it worth just getting the rear sway bar?
