the rear axle on the g is just a little aft of the gas tank. I am surprised no one very pointed that the extra weight of a full tank might give you more rear wheel traction

I rather let my tires grab than add weight to slow me down

ill give the g the nod but the cl's can be quick. I've seen numerous stock 6spds post 14.3s....a decent driver should b able to get a 14.6 out of the auto type s

Just cause you brought it up again. A co-worker of mine has an 02 cls 6spd with an intake and when merging on to the freeway(i don't condone street racing in any way) i always pull a car or 2. He got the jump once and i still reeled him in.
It isn't a slow car by any means but if driver error were to come in to play, its a close race. My advice would be to go from a dig. At a 1/4 mile strip, that way you can get him on the launch.

03.0 5at sedan here, raced the whole group of CL/TL's, pulled them all.

You could have 500hp but can't fix wrong wheel drive
