Some people like it and others don't. Good thing we have choices!

I put 300 miles on the exhaust. It only got louder. I found the exhaust noise quite embarassing coming from a car like the G35. Above 5000rpms, I couldn't tell any difference in noise. From idle to 3500rpms, the car was much louder.
The only time it droned was when you were like in 5th gear or 6th and gave it more gas than you should have to get the car going. Like it was bogging. It would drone. Or if you had a TON of weight. Like when I went to dallas and the trunk was full of heavy tools, and back seat as well. I would hit hills in 6th gear and require to put more gas down it would start to drone a litttle. But cruising its fine. Borla is known to be louder than Stillens on the drone I was told. Haven't heard the Borla myself.

I can tell you from 1st hand experience it has way less drone than the Stillen.

After I installed my HF cats I got some drone when my rpms are too low. For instance if I am on the freeway and it slows to ~40mph but I am still in 6th.
