Not the leather, just the bolster. I'm hoping that with a ***lot*** of conditioning and a new bolster it won't look quite as bad and last a lot longer.
Now for the "sort of" part. I encountered the dreaded "CD ERR FO" problem a couple of weeks ago, as well as a rattling shift ****, so the dealership worked on those problems as well. Unfortunately in fixing those problems, they put a one inch slice/gash in the center console between the audio mode buttons, as well as a dent in the plastic ring around the shifter (yes, I have an 03 with plastanium). Somehow or other I've managed not to scratch either piece in almost four years, but in one afternoon they broke both. But no worries - they're replacing both pieces this week as well.
Can't wait to get it back - between a new shift ****, CD changer, center console cover, shift cover, and driver's seat bottom, it'll be like a brand new interior!!!
