How to remove grille?...
Well thanks to the wonderful search function, I cannot seem to locate any info. on how to remove the grille....not even in the DIY section. After much debate on whether or not to pull the trigger on the UT grille that I've been boycotting since it took them so long to deliver on, I finally did it....mostly in part because I ordered it up with the UT G2 rear spoiler and was able to get 10% off the total bill w/ free shipping.
Anyways, back to my question....has anyone come across instructions or a DIY on this forum on how to remove it? or can anyone help me out?
Thanks

grille pics
you can see the tabs on the grille and the slots in the bumper.
The picture of the front, with the fan...notice the large rectangular slot in the top right (circled) - that is where there is a strong clip on each side (circled on the grille shot) - take care to pull this straight out.
Also, the lower clips, I reached in and lifted the tabs on each one while I wriggled the grille out.

1. Remove the upper row of black plastic "clips" at the top of the grill
2. Use a long flat blade screw drive and turn the two recessed clips at the upper inside of the grill (you show in red) about 1/4 turn to release them.
3. Reach down behind the grill and find the tabs or guides with spring tabs. Depress them while gently pulling the grill forward.
4. Once the grill is released remove the two recessed clips from the body slots and remount (re-spring) them back in place on the grill.
5. Replacing the grill is now a simple matter of aligning the tabs and the two recessed clips and push the grill firmly into place.
6. Reinstall the upper mounting clips.

Great picts andycon...thanks a bunch!
Earl - you worded it like this is something you do often?.....
DenverG35X - ha ha...yeah, I've seen that Toyota commercial where the guy rips the garage door off using the truck...LOL ( I'm 99% sure that was a Tundra )......what a POS those trucks are...esp. the green '03 SR5's!
Ttrank - I don't recall from your other thread, but did you post up how much you paid to get the UT grille painted? I'm guessing it should run around $100-$125?
