Compression Rod question?

If i have the annoying squeak do i HAVE to replace the compression rods? are there any major problems later on if i don't? thanks

good question. i am wondering the same thing. what happens as the bushings get more worn?

for the 2005's? i thought it was earlier models only.....

When I asked them to check about them, they just told me $200 to lube them (not a permanent solution), and $800 to totally replace them with new ones. They didn't mention anything specific or any possible problems if I didn't have them lubed/replaced.

how do they lube them? do they just slap some spray or grease on them? there isn't an actual point to put anything into them, right?

i got quoted 614 to replace mine but was wondering if it was absolutely neccessary to do the replacement.
