I saw a thread with a link to a company that did this... I'll see if I can find it. I know in Japan it's a factory option on our cars.

Has anyone ever swapped out trannies. I have a six speed and would love to put in a dual clutch setup like what audi is using.

What about getting the factory ones from Japan? They use the exact same wheel as ours, and have the factory paddles behind it.

What about the CVT 8 speed from Japan; has anyone tried to repalce that and what would be involved. Would you have to replace the gauges due to the 5 speed to 8 speed or would an ECU reflash cover that. I also wonder the cost of the trans and installation.

The CVT has eight pre-selected ratios you can shift to in manual mode or it does it's own thing in auto.
