I need advice on the plenum spacer, I heard it's pretty chill! Anyway I live in Socal so it never snows down here, and barely rains for that matter. So what it comes down to is which one do I get and what size??? are the more expensive ones from motordyne worth it??? Btw I finished paiting my grill black and it looks awesome, best mod i've done. If anyone wants to see pics let me know. thanks my homies.. focker...out

What year is your car?
Is it an AT or MT?

The reason I ask is if your car is an 05+ MT you have more options.

03-06AT and 03-04MT: If you want to keep your engine cover get the 5/16" spacer from motordyne. If you are willing to give up your cover (which I would since it holds in heat) get the 1/2".

05-06MT: Get the MREV 2 and the 5/16 spacer. There are other places out there that make spacers but motordyne is the only one I would buy from. Just my $0.02.

Just got my MD spacer in last week. I was initally going for the 5/16 but opted with the 1/2 at the last minute since clearance is not an issue for the sedan. I had no problems with the engine cover as other members had previosly reported. Call the guys at Corner3garage in Lake Forest. They are an authorized dealer for MD and the only shop in SoCal that MD recommended for an install.

please don't beat me up, i'm just being lazy and not searching, but does the 1/2" make more power than the 5/16" or not, is it really worth it

Yes it makes a little more power. Check motordyne's site for actual dyno's and tests.

Man, these spacer topics have been beat to death here, and I duno why they're in the sedan section. You know nooblets, there is an engine section AND a search button.
