VK45DD engine
I jst saw this in a Japanese auto magazine
it says with picture
2005 blablabla(in Japanese) V8 VK45DD vs 2005 GS400
assuming and guessing what it say would be that nissan is planning to put the v8 from the current Q into the G compete against with the upcoming GS
sorry cant give more 411 on this,
but heres a pix of the G in the magazine
it has that flare fender on the back
hope this is their answer to the M
the ultimate RWD machine

Re: VK45DD engine
Oh yeah, the VK weighs significantly more than the VQ...I'm not saying that the V8 won't fit, I'm saying that there's no need for Nissan to plant the VK into the G...That isn't this model's purpose...That's why the M45 and Q45 exist...

Re: VK45DD engine
Of course its not its models purpose but I be there would be tuners out there putting that engine in the G or the Z. M45 and Q45 are not really that sporty as the G is. But Infiniti might bring out a G45 just to keep up with the competion but that won't be till at least another 2 years from now.
