G35 Compression Rod Problems
#20
Today I got my car back from the dealer and had the compression rods from the front replaced under warranty. Here's the receipt:
BTW, the '05 G35 loaner I was lent for a couple days does have that similar squeaking noise in the front when going over speed bumps. I'm sure this issue is more obvious on the loaner vehicles since they are typically driven hard.
Customer states there is a squeaking when going over bumps. Found compression rods bearings have excessive play. Replaced compression rods.
COMPRESSION ROD, FRO-54469-AC70F $173.15
BOLT-STOPPER, 40038-AL510 $6.79
ROD COMPL-COMPRESSIO, 54468-AC70F $173.15

Back in May, the tech told me that they can fix it but that it's going to keep coming back. I'm worried about having to fix this issue after my warranty runs out. Infiniti has to resolve this problem.![Mad](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
