Need Install Ideas~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hey guys,

Well I am taking my 03 G35 to my buddys shop today to install a power inverter and my dvd/navi mods.

My question is where is a good place to put my power inverter so I cant hear it or even just a place? (just so you guys know how big it is, it ALMOST fit in my arm rest where that cig. lighter is) I was going to say the glove box but then where would I put my dvd player??

Thanks!

You could try in the area behind the ashtray. If you remove the plastic trim that surrounds the shifter (and also includes the ashtray) there is a bunch space behind there. I plan on putting the internals for my 7" touchscreen there.

I looked behind that ashtray and it doesnt look like tons of room to work with but if I can remove more behind it, it should work. IDK I hope the installer can find something out!!!! :|

What kind of DVD player? Do you have the oem nav? If not put it in there, that's where I put my 2nd source DVD player.

Ya I have oem nav so that spot is filled. I am pretty sure I will just put my power inverter in the glove box so now I just really need a spot for my xbox / and or dvd player...

I think I will just find the smallest dvd player I can find or even a single din dvd player, I dont know lol what do you think I should go with

You should be able get more room in there if you remove some stuff. I've seen an xbox installed in that location.
