If you are worried about the gas mileage for daily driving, get a beater. Keep the G as a weekend car or whatever.

I have no idea what you're capable of. You're pretty good at beeching though.

i had a v8 93 grand cherokee and on one of the cylinders intake valve burned out and i had only 7 cylinders working, that motha was drinkin fuel, my take was around 22 gallons and i was getting, 270 if i drive normal and around 250 if i drive fast.. thats about 12 mpg, it was ridicoulous but i got used to it, so after that 20 mpg dont sound bad for me ,lol bu really if u wanted a good fuel miliega should of bought a minicooper, or a scooter

Take your foot off the brake when accelerating and cruising. Your ET will improve and so will your fuel economy.

Mine was a 1993,,, 325is but i think it had the 328 motor,,,,
i raced a new e46 5spd 328is and still won pretty good.

so it was just a bit faster than the g35 i think (15 flat 1/4 and 6.2 0-60) and i got 23-24 in town and close to 30 highway.....

Dude I hate to be the barrier of bad news but your car is either busted or you can't drive worth a rats a$$. If all you are pulling is 15 stock you need to look a lot into your technique.

BTW Gtech = inaccurate times, and your 325 is no where near as fast as a g35 with the worst granny driver in the world. Quit your beeching and go brush up on the real facts about your car, and if you don't like it go buy a honda.

Something must be wrong with my car maybe? I see some people in low 14s with auto?
Any ideas?
Yeah, G-techs suck. I've used them at the track and they can read way high and way low. Don't trust them.

I get 20 mpg in mixed driving (work commute) and on my last trip to southern FL I got 25.5 and did some occasional ricing. NOt bad if you ask me for a 5AT.
