GTSpec for G35 Sedan

I was looking at getting the three piece set for my 06 sedan. Will all of the GTSpec fit on my car with stock exhaust? Also how many of you are using the GTSpec on your sedan? Is changing your oil harder with these braces on? Please let me know what you all encountered running these baraces on the car.

I have had these around my garage for months now, just been lazy to put them on. I would also like to hear the negatives with installing/using these bars.

So far I've heard that you might need an alignment after you install the bars, if you're not careful. There's also an issue with the length of the bolts while running the bars with the rear SPC camber/toe kit.

Any others?

I haven't installed the tie bars yet and I don't have the SPC kit so I can't speak from personal experience but here's the link where someone else had the issue.

The bolts with the SPC kit are just a little shorter than the OEM toe bolts, so even if there was no damage, there is not enough length on the bolt to also hold on to the GT bar as well, at least not enough to safely hold it. Anyone with similar issues?

Good luck!

Not sure if by elongating the bolt, if that would throw off any settings. I mean if SPC makes alarger bolt, how would that affect people that do not own the GTSpec bars? All it needs is 1/4" longer and that would cover the space created by the GTSpec bar, the washer and give the nut enough thread to hold it tightly.

I have the single front and the two rear bars for about 8 months now. No issues. I wish the bolts for the rear ties were included as the OE's are a tad short, but they work. Changing the oil is no different.

The GTSPEC rear lateral arm is nowhere near the HKS rear section exhaust. After talking with Ken at GTSPEC and with SIXFIVE who bought the lateral arm, we know that the lateral arm brace will not fit the coupe midpipe, but will fit the sedan. Both SIXFIVE and I have the sedan with the coupe mid-pipe. SIXFIVE demonstrated how the lateral arm bangs against the coupe middy.

I talked to the person at my preformance shop and he had to say this about GT-Spec Lateral Braces.

It makes the chasis stiffer and makes the car handle a lot better. However, he said people with some 300Z experienced paint cracking around the wheel wells. He said the chasis is so stiff that the weakest point on the car body will than flex, thus cracking paint on the car.

Any of you have had this problem on your G's?? This might take a year or so to happen.
