This is a one off. I'm making them

I wish I could find a clear cover. I wonder who I can call to get some quotes on getting some made.

That's nice looking. So far you have cut the red lens off and painted the inside right?

Cut the lens off, painted the inside, drilled holes into the reflectors for the LED's, I'm trimming up the circuit boards right now, my wife picked up the resistors from the po box so I can start soldering it all together.
I broke the right lens, so I won't be able to finish that side yet. I might just glue it together for now, while I waiting for a new right one to come in. I'm also thinking about just opening my JDM lights and using those covers for the time being. I have enough LED's to mod both of them... Now that I think about it, it's a good idea. I also have to dremel open the reverse lamps so I can paint those. Don't want it to look stupid
I have KH3 paint that I plan on painting the signal area kind of like OCG's, but I'm going to leave a little bit of the signal unpainted so I can place a running light in there to make my eyebrows

Here is my other light project.
I took the new style jdm bumper lights with the "bump". Painted them black and installed 40 leds

That's the same thing I did but I only did ~36 LED each.

I wasn't aware that you made a set. If I did 36 I probably wouldn't have had to dremel the back plate down.

Mine are all amber and the front is painted this silver/black color that lets ~60-70% of the light through. I want to re-paint them.

I think they look better painted instead of tinted. I painted the PCB board as well so that it is as black as possible inside. The lens is still clear. I'm going to pull off my front lights sometime soon and paint those as well. I'll body match those. I don't have an oven so I'm going to have to use the heat gun. I'm a little worried about that. Don't want to over do it, you know.

Yeah without an oven it will take more time. Just go slow and don't melt anything.

Headlight retro is a lot of fun. Just make sure you set aside enough time and are not rushed. I took my time on my S2k and they came out great. I was rushed on my TL's and there are some parts I am not 100% happy with.

Nice car

Wow. I must say your car looks amazing. I am new to the site and to the world of Infiniti. I am picking up a 04' G35 coupe on the 3rd of July when I head back home for vacation. Again, your car is an inspiration. I don't really have time to read 128 pages of posts so if you don't mind me asking what are your track times? You running a 1/4, 1/8 or actual track? Thanks.
