Yeah it was a lot of work but I'm a lot happier not having any fuel related parts inside the car now. I was afraid of a fire if I ever got in a crash.

Now I have room for the diff cooler and pump I want to put together.
Wow that fuel pump is loud LOL.

There is still room for my amps and stuff in what's left of the spare tire well so with any luck I can put it all back together without any major mods to the panels I built.
Where is the EVAP box now? Mine is in the spare tire well right now. Did you bolt the EVAP box under the steel plate you welded since you say you cut the spare tire well out?

That's some over the top thing to cut the spare tire well out. I don't think I could do that to my car. Seems kinda cruel.

On the 2nd gens the EVAP canister is under the car under the spare tire well. It looks like the well is bent up in the middle to make room for the canister. They should of done that on 05-06.

That's where mine is now that the well is gone. The surge tank, fuel pump and evap box are down there. I'm working on a diff cooler setup now that can go under there with a pump and cooler.

Too much. Honestly I don't know. I have hundreds of hours of my own time plus all the help and all the parts. It's a lot...

It sucks that it will be a big PITA to change this. With the way my wastegates sit it's a big pain and takes a lot of time to get my tranny out. That was one of the reasons I went with a big $ clutch that lasts a long time.
Did you change those parts yet? When does the season start this coming fall? Mine came in today. There are going in with a rebuilt OEM clutch from my old 04 sedan rebuilt out of ceramic or kevlar.

I got the parts but have not changed them out yet. Pulling my tranny is a big PITA because of my down pipes and wastegates. I'll do it this fall.

Hey I saw your car yesterday on my way home from work, what a way to end the workday!

It was on baseline & 10, near the AZMills mall.

Beautiful ride, I had to give mine a pep talk when we got home, she was a little depressed after seeing yours
