If I Go With 19s
Hello everyone,
Neebie here would like to say hi and ask a couple questions for the experts.
Well I just picked up a 05 G35x and wanted to get some rims for the G and would like some help. Oh and please don't flame me for this since I don't know CRAP about offsets and what not.
1st question is: can someone give me exact numbers for rims like I keep hearing 19x8.5 with an offset of +38. I just want some rims that sits nice and flush with the fenders will not rub and will not look tilted inward of the car.
2nd question is: if I put 19s on the car will it make the car sit higher off the ground? With being said would I have to drop it to compensate the height? I would rather like to keep it stock height if I can but if it raises the car up higher from the ground then I would also like to drop it to the same stock height.
That is all for now but your help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you guys and gals in advance.

19x8.5 +38 all around will work perfectly and be pretty flush with the fenders. You have an X and dont plan on lowering so there's pretty much no wheel you can get and have it rub.
If you put 19's you wont be higher off the ground. As long as your tires are near that of the stock tires diameter. The most common tire setup is 245/35/19 but if you want more rubber for peice of mind then 245/40/19 will work.

19x8.5 +38 to plus +40 offsets are the most common sizes for those who stay non-staggered. Since you have an X, you are not gonna want to run staggered unless you plan on pulling the fuse.
