Re: Rice or Nice?

That almost looks like my car without the wing. The only thing I would change would be to not have the mesh grills. The G35 is a classy car. IMO the mesh grills look cheap. That is the same material you buy at home depot to use on the screen door at your house. I would leave the stock grill on or paint the mesh ones black.

Re: Rice or Nice?

Nice, very subtle. I would at the very least throw on some rims and do at least a 1" drop to close the gap. Would match nicely with the slight mods.

Re: Rice or Nice?

Got the same comment on Fresh Alloy about the mesh grille.... I do love Home Depot, though. I think I'll rework the chop w/ colored grille and drop it w/ some new rims just to see the difference...though that's probably getting a bit out of my means cus I figured if I'm going to get the sport package, I may as well keep the rims and leave the suspension as is. I'm trying to stick with the mentality of "less is more" (though the gaudy silver grille may beg to differ)...plus "less is cheaper."

Re: Rice or Nice?

Yeah...gotta love the Twilight Blue. Although I'm not too sure that's exactly how it would look in person....I kind of enhanced the brilliance of the blue to bring it out of the background

Re: Rice or Nice?

yeah pestilence u are deffently the exception to the rule. ur car looks good with the mesh. I would say go for all the mods u did in the pic and maybe rethink the mesh but its not that bad.

Re: Rice or Nice?

Very nice. The blue looks great. I don't think the mesh looks that bad. The enhancements are subtle enough to give the car a sporty yet classy look.

Are there any body kits that look like that out there? That's the only look I've seen that doesn't seem to disrupt the lines on the car, unlike Impul's and Gialla's. No offense meant Pestilence, just like the smoother lines.

On Order:
"04 G35S 6MT Diamond Graphite on Graphite, Full Aero, Navi, Sirius, Premium Coming Mid November (Hopefully)
Till then still driving: '01 AE Maxima SE 5sp

Re: Rice or Nice?

Looks good... perhaps have the mesh powder coated ($30 - $40) in black or even the same blue as the car?

Also, does the world have really have to become black and white if you did the is to the car? If it does, then I don't like your mods at all. I think it's a bit pretentious for you to be the only one with some color....oh wait, I have a silver sedan. never mind.......

Re: Rice or Nice?

Nismo: No kit out there that I've seen that looks like this one...enter photoshop to let me do what I want with the car. I agree with you about all the kits on the market for the G...they just look too bulky or blocky, if that makes sense.

SoCal: I'm colorblind...and so is my version of Photoshop. I personally thought the car was black all along...who knew it was a gorgeous, brilliant, deep, lusterous blue that everyone would drool over in a sea of silver cars....j/k
