I personally don't like the EDR. I read a story where the EDR was wrong. The cop clocked a car doing 75 and the EDR said 90. The EDR information was thrown out and the radar detector was trusted to be the true speed of the car. I just read about this a few days ago, can't remember where though. I'll post up if I find the article.

you're absolutely correct that this forum is social and therefore informal. thus, a certain level of abbreviation and slang is expected.

however, when it becomes difficult to decipher a post due to the language used, that level has been passed by. i don't think it is to much to ask that people have a quick read through of their post before submitting. that seems manageable and considerate, yes?
