245/40/18 of diameter for tire size?

I posted a question about the best tire size for my new wheel, 18-8 volk progressive ME and I have got some responses from you guys. However, It did not make sense to me, so I could not buy tires today.
I want get front tire 225/45/18 and rear tire 245/40/18.
Is there anyone who knows 245/40/18 of diameter for tire size?
Also, 225/45.18 for front and 245/40/18 for rear will be a good balance? - I don't want to get my new wheels rubbing fenders.

225/45/18 25.9
235/45/18 26.3
245/45/18 26.6
245/40/18 ?

if you have 18x8's all the way around, you can just do 245-40-18's on all four corners, then you can rotate the tires as well to prolong the life.

overall diameter of 245/40/18 is 25.7"

This should help, you can plug in different sizes and see how they compare:

As long as you don't have an X you can run 225/45 front and 245/40 rear without any issues. Both sizes are close enough to OEM specs that you shouldnt have an issues.

Hey Guys,

First off, I don't mean to hijack the thread but I figured it would be better than starting a new one.

In regards to offsets, is the higher offset, say +40, going to move the rim closer to the inside of the fender or closer to the outside of the fender?

I am thinking about getting an 18x8 rim with a +40 offset front and rear with a 245/45-18 tire. I am running the unrevised 350z springs too. I have read the charts and looked at the diagrams and it looks ok to me but I would like to hear that from you experienced guys.

Thanks.
