Taking your lower collector off might give you some more space to work with taking that snapped bolt off

I hope someone can chime in and help you take the snapped bolt off

+2 You will have to drill as small hole into the bolt itself. Then use the screw extractor to get it out. The screw extractor will have reverse threads on it so it can grab and turn it out.

Good luck

you can try using a left handed drill bit to spin it back out..
center punch it and slowly reverse the drill, if its not cross threaded
it should come out easily with no damage to the threads.

good luck

I got the Screw extractor at Sears and the bolt is out. I also just got off the phone with Tony from Motordyne and he's sending me a new bolt. : )

as per a local friends suggestion, I stopped using torque wrenches for bolts that require so little torque...the TW's usually can not pick up the light torque - best to just "hand tighten" it.

dont hand tighten.. dont recommend that.. use a smaller torque wrench.. thats why they have different sizes.. i use to be one those that try tightening it hardest i can get, and end up breaking them. just becarefull. when the bolt is small. use the super small 3/8 torque wrench. and if its big use the 1/2 =D

One of the lessons my Dad tought me.............

I can hear him telling me now "Never over tighten a bolt" I suppose if you
don't have a good torq wrench you could use LocTite blue and make the
bolts "snug." It is important that all the bolts are the same snug..........
Glad to hear you recovered the broken bolt........the tool you used to
remove it at one time was refered to as an "easyout!" It's never easy..haha
