potential leak?

Hey guys I have a potential problem. I found a leak while I was parked outside of my gals house. The fluid was a redish color (transmission fluid possibly?) and it was located behind the d/s wheel well near where you jack up the car. The interesting thing is when I got home to check the location where the leak was, not even a drop. And another thing i noticed was that I think the same fluid was in the wheel well. I think that i might of hit a puddle of transmission fluid? Any suggestions?

the wheel well was covered with the stuff. it wasn't dripping off the well but it was coated onto the well. Also there is no more leak.

well the driver side area near the wheel is where the break fluid resevoir is. Pop the hood and make sure the resevoir isn't leaking. Than i would check the hoses running in and out of that. Then i would check that d/s wheel on the inside where the line attaches to the caliper.

the lvl of the power steering fluid is b/t the min and the max point. I'm gonna have to take it to a shop tomorrow just to double check. Seems like it could be the power steering though.. Thanks for the help jack

Red is tranny (sometimes) or power steering fluid.

Just keep an eye out for more. He may be wrong.
