I'm not entirely sure the tires are going to fit, but I'll know by the end of the week. I'd like to get to the track this weekend as well, but it's supposed to rain down here all weekend.

Either way, I'll be sure to let you know if they fit and if they do, how they help me with the launch. If you're interested, that is.

Did you get wheels and tires just for drags? If so what did you get?

Yes, I did. The thread about the wheels can be found here.

I payed $175 shipped for the two wheels. I just ordered BFG DR's, 255/50/16's, a while ago. ~$320 shipped, from Tirerack. For those concerned with fitment of the 16's, I have a thread here.

It seems like the G's and the 350's are pretty close in times. I would think it would be a drivers race with an advantage to the 350.

My buddy recently bought an 04 350Z and I could spank him everytime and thats with my stock 03 Sedan M6, then again I have a better driver mod then him

decent wheels and helll of a price but they only have a 7" footprint? and 255's on them will be cutting it real close....

I'm not entirely sure they will fit. The good this is I can return the tires(minus shipping) if they don't fit. And I can also return one of the two wheels if the tires don't fit. Can't return the wheels after tires have been mounted.

But I think I'm gonna be fine.

255/50R16s will fit a 7" to 9" rim so no worries. I'm glad to see you got some DRs especially in a 26" diameter. Take out your brake fuse so that you can warm them up good. With BFGs, when you see smoke, roll them for another 1 or 2 second and then they're ready. Start with about 18psi and see where that gets you. When you get the 60 foots where you want them, take note of the PSI and keep it there.

Cool, thanks.

I have to run 17's or larger to clear my brakes so I may stick with the stock wheels for now.

The ABS fuse is in the larger holder behind the battery, on the firewall.

chobble19, did you apply the brakes though when you did the burnout? or did you just have VDC off?

also ttrank, do you have a thread link or a picture showing what you mean by where the ABS and VDC fuses are? much appreciated
