http://media.putfile.com/MOV00352

sorry for stealing your video da mayor - but I thought this was important.

the other day, da mayor (kenny at Infiniti of Massapequa) hit the best time out of the entire pack of our local N/A 350Z's and G's (TSZ33)

14.002 - way to rep the sedan!!

he is 06 6mt w/ JWT intake + Ztube, test pipes, borla exhaust, and H&R springs + 350z shocks.

DieselX - the other AT sedan at the meet - scored an unltra low 14.2

I'm actually very disappointed with my time, but I blame the day lol

Seriously, everybody coulda ran faster.. maybe it was the warm temp, or the wind, but we were getting some slow times. I think Kenny can do 13.7 on a good day. I should be able to hit 13.9 on a good day.

I just put on some 350z shocks and springs yesterday... supposibly these should help, no?

13.7 is some fast timing diesel! I ran a 14.3 in 85 degree weather with the coupe wheels on against a older style twin turbo s4. he ran a 13.9 and had some ecu work and bolt ons galore...def felt like i could have saved .3 by launching better. oh and my edfc adjustment was on its stiffest setting lol

by the way i cant DL the link??

it rained for a bit but the wind and temps dropped down to the 40's so the ground was definitely cold.

i gotta wait till next month hopefully get better times with better weather conditions and better tires

Nice runs guys. It's good to see others testing thier cars under some timing lights. Now get your butts over to my thread in the drag section and post up your information so we can build a nice database of 1/4 mile times.

I wouldn't call a 2.1 60 foot horrible because it's better than most G owners can get. The temps looked ideal and the wind kind of sucks, but it's been my experience over 10 years of drag racing that even 20-25mph head or cross winds really don't effect ET though it does influence MPH a bit. I've run in and against some pretty stiff head wind and tailwind. The only thing that changes seems to be MPH which appears to about +/- 1 to 1.5mph for every 20mph of wind.

Never ran my car at the track. THe closest thing ive done to runing it was when i raced some VW he ran a 14.1 and I pulled half a car by 100. I was also Three deep, And he had one passenger. So shave off 200 pounds from my car it would of been an even race and could of prob pulled another car.

I think you can do better w/o the coupe wheels. If you are running the oem 245-40-19s, that's giving you a taller final gear ratio. But I suppose it depends of you can get all the way down the track in 3rd (ie.. w/o shifting into 4th).

Very nice times!

I went this weekend and had a crappy time. It was very windy and some moron crashed all the way at the end of the track, after the 1/4 which closed it down for over an hour so we were only there for two hours.

I had my chrome 20's and all the other heavy stuff, spun through 1st and 2nd so the best I was able to do was a 13.0 @ 111, but my best trap was 115 on a 13.1 run. I also forgot to turn up my boost controller until the last couple runs so the 13.0 was on my low boost ~365whp level.

I got in a great burnout on the last run but was used to feathering the clutch through 1st and 2nd so when I got grip in first it caught me off guard and I bogged hard and almost stalled it. To tell you how bad the bog was, my helmet hit the steering wheel! From there I took off like a rocket and still ran a 13.1. If I would have had a better launch that was a 12.8 or better. My friends got a video of one run so I can show you how bad I spun but didn’t get the bog vid. They said everyone went ohhhhhh when I did it.

Next time I am going to put my 17's back on and see what I can do. The dubbs were not helping.

Also in my defense, this is the first time I have been to the races in over 6 years.
