Hi, i joined this site a long time ago and i browse the forums every once and awhile. So i was reading a DIY on installing a chirp instead of a beep, and i realized my G doesn't beep. Is there a way to turn this on and off? Thanks for any help or input!

EDIT: I have an 2003 G35 Sport.

On your remote hold the lock and unlock button down at the same time for about 10 sec to turn on the beep.

I assume doing it again will turn the beep off? I kinda like the no beep/chirp.

Sounds logical. I had the beep, pressed the buttons and now, no beep. So if you did it again, I would think the beep would be back.

i wouldn't call it a beep or a chirp......more like a..."honk" lol

I like the no honk too. The lights don't flash every time the unlock/lock button is pressed. Saves the bulbs from shorting out soon.
