So you are having a short somewhere,, mine was shorting out because i had an aftermarket spoiler ,,the spoiler brake light was connected to the oem 3rd brake light...i disconnected the spoiler one and everything works now.

I'm currently having the same issues as the OP; VDC, Slip, Brake light comes on at first touch of the brake pedal. Last night I had a friend plug in his OBDII scanner to see if it was throwing any codes. Sure enough, the code received was P1805 - "Brake pedal position (BPP) switch - circuit malfunction"

Has anyone else seen this?
Two weeks ago I cut open the rubber hose between the body and the trunk and re-spliced (soldered and insulated) three wires (2 grounds and a power line to the trunk release actuator). That fixed me issue with the trunk actuator popping open. When I did this I did not see any other wires that were damaged or spliced, but since I don't have a spoiler, I don't really expect this to be the problem.
Just not sure if the brake pedal switch is the culprit, or if I somehow missed a fragile wire. ?
