Help... please

Hey everyone,

So I drive a 06 5AT sedan, and when i am at a red light and push the gas pedal certain times the car will just sit there and slowly move foward but the rpms shoot up to around 4000, then it will like take off. it happens quite often and its been going on for a month, however when I tried the overdrive it worked fine, anybody have any ideas what it is?

Thanks in advance

well, it sounds like a transmission issue. I would have it checked out under warranty.

Yeah...I have the same type everything as you do. When I read that post I was like WTF? That does not sound good at all. You need to get yourself to a dealer...pronto.

There's overdrive on these cars? Just take it in, they'll take care of it.

Mine does the EXACT same thing! I thought it was normal.....and I do hope that it is normal....I tap it real quick & let go, and the car downshifts and the revs shoot up! It's a good trick, if you're about to pass someone and want to get a bit of a head start (do this BEFORE changing lanes)....anyone know if this is normal???
