it comes with a temperature guage yes but there are no numbers on it. Plus it doesn't move at all once it gets into the "normal" zone. in actuality your cars temperature will fluctuate 10-20 degrees normally and being able to read in 2 or 5 degree increments will allow you to forecast problems before they become major, such as a failing thermostat or bad relay on a fan or something like that.

Never understood that. If say, the gague costs $10 to put in, just raise the price of the car $15. Nobody will notice $15 on a $30k purchase, people will be happy (oooh, another gague), the company will make another $5/car, and you will have useful information.
