I went 135, and still could of kept on going, but this stupid bmw cut me off in front, but im also glad that i stopped me, because its very dangerous, i am never trying that again, and would not recomend it for anyone, bacuse if you loose control even a little, its like saying goodbye to your life.

although i've replied to similar post before, i've gone up to 140 mph.... never had enough room to go past 140 (traffic wise). I-5 in the very early morning hours from twin cities road (sr-104) to just before the freeport overpass (more like a mile past laguna blvd) is a 11.5+ mile straight if you have the ballz to try it....
i would do the hw 104 to hood franklin part as that is about 6+ miles of no cross traffic (no on-off ramps between the 2 roads) if i have the guts...

I personally have gone 115-120... Cant remember. i was more paying attention to the road LOL
Be safe guys when you decide to do this.
BTW you guys are all such safety nuts, how come there are so many views on this thread? People want to see how fast other people have gone. Either that or it gives them a reason to start ****.

i went around 115 one night comming home with some friends..stupid choice of me to do it..i would never normally endanger their lives or anyone else's for that matter. i was racing an audi...after that, i never went above 90mph ever again.
my friend on the other hand went 140, but he was alone on the frwy early early in the morning, so he was lucky nothing happend, but afterwards never did it again.
i never praise, condone, or support any form of street racing (anymore) too many ppl died and are still dying due to racing, or just reckless driving.
moral of the story kids: dont speed and dont drive like a jacka**!

There's a stretch of 84 in NY that is generally deserted and rural, but very well paved and straight. At one point there is a slight downhill straight away for about a mile, then it starts an incline that is about a half mile long, completely straight so you can see for a mile and a half. The highway is split with a thick tree line in the center, no one was in front or behind me, it was dry, it was daylight, I was alone, and I had not pushed the G yet. 150, smooth as hell, no vibrations, the road was a blur. I'm probably lucky I didn't hit a deer, but I had to push it once.
