Installing clear corners?

Can someone give me a quick overview on how to do this correctly? I searched forums but could not find info? The pair I have has Japanese language manual.

Re: Installing clear corners?

Just pull hard...it should pop right off. Trust me, once you pull, you'll be able to figure the rest out on your own. You might want to try checking your search parameters too, because I'm confident this topic has been covered before. Good luck.

I would not suggest to 'just pull hard', although that may work. I suggest you use a screwdriver to push the silver metal tab (found on the back side of the light, inside the wheel well) and pull out 90 degrees away from the fender, then slide it out towards the back of the car. Another tab removes the wire. Putting the new one in is even easier.

Re: Installing clear corners?

Please do not "just pull hard". Gain access to the back of the light assembly by removing a few of the plastic fasteners in the wheel well and you may have to remove a phillips screw near the side marker. Once you see the back of the side marker there is a tab you push that should release the light assembly. From there you can disconnect the bulb.

It's in the owner's manual as well, in the DIY section. It states to simply pop it off with a screwdriver.

Looks like I may have given out bad advice once again, my bad. Here's an attempt to make ammends:

https://g35driver.com/forums/showfla...view=&sb=&vc=1

It's a possible security mod to prevent theives from ripping off your corners. It states that it's for the coupe, but I'm thinking a similar setup may work for the sedan. Could potentially cause more damage to your bumper tho if the theif is overly persistent. Hope this helps!
