This just happend to my '03 sedan this morning! The left side moves back and forth and the right side lags behind and makes clicking noises!

I had it into the dealer because I thought the seat felt loose just before the warrenty ran out in July. They found nothing wrong with it.

Calling for some good will. Wish me luck!

 

I brought it in for the seat and about 3 other maintenance items (oil, brakes) and they didn't do a thing for the seat. I told the rep twice that is was an issue when I dropped it off ...and nothing. Not even a mention of it on the report or when I picked up my car. I was stunned and the person who was there when I picked it up made up some crap about the warranty being expired. I figure it still moves. I just turned off the auto slide back feature and hope it doesn't grenade.

 

I took the car into the dealer yesterday. I drove off in an '07 G35x loaner.

Bottom line, Infiniti paid for the motor assembly, I paid for the labor. It could have been worse.
