Make it sound like a coupe

You really dont need to pay Mieneke to do the coupe mid pipe swap. The coupe midpipe is only 4 bolts and one rubber hanger, complete bolt on, no modification needed. Its easy to get to if you have a lift to work on or a good tall jack at home (not the tiny one that comes with the car). The only issue you may run into are rusted bolts. If you think ahead and grab some PBblaster (or another kind of rust penetrant) and spray the bolts before you begin you should be fine. Add HP? Maybe a few (>5) but the weight savings and sound alone are worth it.
Take a look at This Thread for my pics and review on the Coupe middy and Z tube/pop charger:

+1 also the coupe midpipe is easy to install as long as you don't strip a the bolt other than that its a breeze
I hate doing exhaust work HATE IT!!
it makes you black and blue and red all over mostly b/c most of us dont have lifts and must perform such work on our backs.
than when something doesnt fit...for god knows what reason - you have to go running for drill bits
than you lower the car - start it up and and figure that you either forgot a gasket or a bolt and you must do the whole process over.
---
i had an exhaust leak the other week and was contemplated lifting the car - removing the stripped bolt and applying exhaust gasket
instead - I went to an exhaust shop - car was placed on the lift for 5 minutes...bolt removed, gasket installed ===6 bux
DONE...and i did that all with slacks and a white collar shirt

you will never EVER get the burble of the coupe unless you have an exhaust shop install the coupe rear muffler on your sedan
I have the fast intentions H/f Cats. Im not a coupe but everywhere I go I always get "this sh$# sounds sweeet" im very happy with this setup. I have stock cat back too!

Has anyone tried this? Is it too loud? I guess it would restrict the exhaust.....say what?
I have the coupe middy, HKS rear. After I added a Popcharger, I noticed the exhaust note change a bit...sound more "like" the coupe but still not the coupe. Love the sound either way.
I have the Greddy Evo 2 catback. After about 2 months the resonator started to rattle. It got to the point that I was getting sour looks from the gate gaurds. So I went to an exhaust shop and they replace the resonator with just a strait pipe. Yea they had to weld on my new Greddy but that only costed me 30 dollars. IMO my exhaust sounds just like the coupes. My buddy says that it sounds more like a Carrera. (sorry for spelling) If you want to hear it I will make a video.
