Shift ****

Anyone find a good replacement shift **** for the 6-spd? I bought a cheap one from E-bay, and I guess you get what you pay for, the "Drift ****" Fits like crap, the nut that came w/ it isn't even the right thread, and the **** doesn't come anywhere close to the shift boot, had to put the OEM back on even though ots a bit worn....

I've never thought of replacing mine. I think ours feel and look good, except for on hot days you've got to watch out, gets a little toasty

I have the Nismo Ti one but there are tons of options out there. Not sure what year yours is but it matches the Ti trim in the 03/04 very well.

The Nismo looks great, matches the interior perfect. It looks like it has good fitment between the shift **** and leater boot, which is what concerns me the most, since the piece I bought is such a joke.... Mine is an 05, think the interior trim is pretty much the same. Where did you pick yours up?

I've got the Voodoo ****.

I'll have to find an actual pic in the car. It blends with the interior very well and sits lower. Yes it gets warm like any other metal ****. Its slightly larger than the circumference of the OEM. Reminds me of the old school Hurst *****

How do you stand the metal **** in Phoenix? Isn't hotter than the surface of the sun after the car has baked in the sun for a while?

Here in Florida even the small plastic (metal?) piece at the top of the stock shift **** in my 05 sedan gets very hot. Anything metal is not touchable. I remind myself every time I put my sunglasses on, as they have a metal frame, and burn my temples.

Yeah it gets hot but my car does not sit out in the sun much. It does most of the day but my building (work) faces west and blocks the sun in the afternoon so the car is cool when I get in. Plus remote start is nice...
