My dealer just knows how to rub it in.

I bought what you call an entry level G35. no major upgrades but the sun-roof. since my car had to be placed in the dealer(Perma-Plate) what do they give me as a loaner? the fully loaded Sedan.........OH, THE TORTURE!!!! Now I know what I'm missing.LOL

Oh, sorry you had to be tempted, but glad that's why you hate your dealer, and not something else!

Gee, I usually get the opposite problem.. my car is fully loaded, and the loaners never have the sport suspension or nav system or premium package.

Maybe by "base level" he/she means cloth interior. I always get
a leather model with sunroof for my loner. Not a loaded car
but nicer than the cloth interior base model.

I get the opposite, I had base model earlier this week. I hate turning on the lights myself, I like my dual zone, and the new clock hands look bloated.

I have never seen a "cloth" sedan here, never did see one on the lot either! They can give me any Infiniti they want as a loaner, it beats the hell out of a van ride or an Escort that I'd have to pay $4 a day for from Enterprise!

I'm a HE. my car is leather, I just didn't realize how good it was with all the premium options. well, maybe in a couple years or who knows a couple of months if finances are better I'll trade up. I'm crazy like that.
