I am sooo excited !!!

I am getting the car tuned next saturday thanks the Church Automotive courteous raffle event that went on past saturday. I was the lucky one to win the event and get the car tuned by their brand new software that works with the stock ECU. All u do is plug in the laptop and do some magic. They demonstrated how easy and simple changing everything was. They can control the timing, idle rpm, redline, a/f and everything that ecu controls. The only thing that they can not do is to change the shift speed on automatic tranny.

I got my car dynoed this past saturday and got 271 hp and 263tq with catback dual exhaust and kinetix plenum. Keep in mind this is a dynapack based dyno (they take off the wheels). They worked on a practically stock car were able to bump the HP about 15 more than before the tune. So i am hoping 290-ish and after the new clutch 13s here I come!

I will post before and after results when they tune the car.

Congrats!

Just so you know and before anyone else is rude; Church's has a rep around the country of having a dyno that reads a lot higher than anyone else. Not that it is a bad thing since a dyno is more for tuning than anything but any other place you go will most likely read lower.

^Ya i know. For comparison before and after purposes it is enough.
When i was stock i dynoed 261 hp and 25~ tq on their dyno. ABout a month later i dynoed the car on dynojet chasis and got 246 whp and 240 tq. When i got the plenum on and removed the stupid JWT intake gained 10 hp and about that much tq on churches dyno. So im guessing im putting down about 256 whp and 245 tq on a average dynojet dyno. After the tune im hoping about 270 and 260 tq on dynojet based dyno. Since there is a lot of room to play with A/F mixture on my car right now, the car needs a lot more fuel especially in midrange area.

I'm glad you know about it and can base your numbers from there. Either way, you have a good baseline on his dyno and can see what the tune does for you which is the right way to do it.

Again, congrats on the win and I can't wait to see how this does.

According to Shawn at Church 03-06 g35s have 26 different ECUs and they had 25 of them ready for the tune. The only one that was missing happened to be on MY car . Well they flushed my cars ecu send it back and they programmed so it will be tunable. Just called Church and they got the program back finally after a week. Im going in tomarrow and get it done finally will post results in dyno/tune section.

Wish me LUCK!
