Does anybody have a video or sound byte of this Stillen drone everyone is refering too, and maybe a video of the engine under load, and not just reving in neutral.
i really want to purchase an aftermarket exhaust and this is the only thing that is holding me back. thanks in advance,

I think you will find most of the available exhaust systems have a certain resonance between 2500-3000 rpms. Some may be less but they will all have it. What you can live with is personal.

Re: The Stillen Drone, Video
Unfortunatley you would have to hear this in person to get a good opinion. To hear with a recording, you would first have to have expensive recording equipment that would accurately record low frequencies. Many standard (i.e. anything bought at Best Buy) will not record very low frequencies. Even if you record with professional equipment, you would have to have the same capable playback equipment. So unless you had a good subwoofer to playback the low end, you will not hear the full spectrum of sound. For example, standard computer speakers, unless you have a subwoofer, will not play very low frequencies. Physics just will not allow with small woofer cones.
My sedan stillen drones loudly at all RPMs < 4000, while the engine is under load. I have not heard a sound clip yet that reproduces the drone that I hear. I just ordered $250 worth of sound deadening material (Brown Bread and lead core V-Comp) for the trunk, floor, and doors. We'll see how this does.
Even if I only heard droning during each accelleration, I could live with that because the performance is nice. However, when crusing at a constant speed above 60 MPH, the drone, for at least my wife and I, causes a headache after about 20 min. Its worse at a constant speed at a given RPM above 60 MPH because the engine is working harder (maintaining higher speed vs low speed, gearing ratio, wind resistence, ...).
Hey, this is all subjective, and based on my families comments. Some may like and value any additional sound, regardless of type, as it differentiates from those who remain stock. I bought this system only for performance gains (knowing there would be some sound changes, just didn't expect the extent of droning). The new interior rattles and vibrations are not subjective though (had to tape my seatbelt top bolt plactic cover to prevent an aggressive rattling at higher RPMS).

Re: The Stillen Drone, Video
I have been to two shops to check installation (all ok), and they all confirmed the droning on the Stillen. No change after being well broken in. Even Performance Nissan agrees that it drones. Also, Stillen was not surprised when I told them about it. Maybe some define droning differently.
