Gumout??

My car starts up, but RPM drops and car stalls, could this be fuel injection problem? Doesnt seen like battery issue, talk to some service guys, they suggest me to use Gumout to clean the fuel injection system.. anybody had this issue and use gumout to fix it before?

Could also very well be a MAF problem. Check the plug on your MAF. Do you use a K&N filter? Sometimes the Oil used on the K&N's can get on the element inside the MAF and screw up the reading which would cause your car to do exactly what you said.

This is the MAF in the red circle.

Take it out and take a look at it. You may not be able to tell if that is the problem just by looking at it, however.

^Wouldn't hurt to clean it while you have it out as well. They sell MAF cleaner at your local auto retail store.

I agree with everyone, it sounds like a MAF problem or potentially a vacuum problem. I'd clean the MAF and check to make sure that all vacuum lines are secure and that you've attached any you have possibly fiddled with. Do you have a Z-tube? If so, much sure the vacuum line under the tube is attached. Do you have any other mods?

I highly doubt it's an injector problem because:

1) Fuel these days is very clean.
2) Gasoline pumps have inline filters
3) Your fuel pump has a filter
4) Fuel doesn't gum up
5) An injector problem wouldn't cause stalling. If all injectors had a problem, then the engine would stall, but the chances of all the injectors failing is about nill.

Plus the fuel filter on the G is huge!

I agree with the guys above and doubt it's a fuel issue. Sounds more like an A:F issue. Maybe a vacuum leak or a bad TB / MAS.

OK, I did it so you can too. Go to the local Auto parts store and get a can of MAF (Mass Air Flow) cleaner. Unplug the MAF sensor plug and take the bolts out. Lay it on a towel and spray the ever loving shit out of it. Be sure to let it dry AND warm up to room temp to evaporate any condensation that forms from the cold of the cleaner. Install in reverse order.... Varooooom!!!!

ps: DO NOT TOUCH THE SENSOR PARTS WITH YOUR HANDS!
