I think the reason for that is, the base G35 sedan in Japan is a VQ25 turbo and all they did was just translate it. But I could be wrong.

What I would change is having seats that not only are heated but cooled just like the ones you see in the M/Q45.

A lighter rear wing, hood and stronger front and rear bumpers.

A journey package like you see in the Maxima where the rear seats are heated and cooled and makes the car only seat 4.

More sport out of the auto with a more powerful tq converter. A better vdc and tc control so you can turn of one, or both when needed. A cleaner sounding sound system and better intergration with the navi.

Some changes I'd like to see:

1) Rear seats should fold down like the coupe.
2) Guage lights... Get rid of the amber color. Blue is in.
3) Bluetooth support like the TL
4) Standard with Intelli Key
5) Most Important: Harder Paint. Screw the lawmakers that outlaw lead and other materials in paint. I want damn hard paint! Kinda sad when I drove my 00 Explorer for 5 years and didn't get the first stone chip for nearly 3 years. Got one within the first 2 weeks on my G.

Most everything is corrected

I bought an early edition 2003 M35 sedan and had a few squeek and rattle issues. There were lots of little things that bothered me: the "square" on the trunk (redesigned within 9 months), the radio and temp buttons, the hard to see in the sunlight dash, and a few other things. For 2005 Infiniti has redesigned everything that i found irritating except one: the location of the power seat controls. I never got used to them being underneath my thigh and sometimes on longer trips I felt like the bracket was digging into me. Since Infiniti fixed most everything, I was fully prepared to buy another one - an '05. That was until i saw and drove the "M". Long story short: I'm getting the M instead. Yes, it's way more expensive, but worth every penny. Only flaw with the M is you can't get the light color interior with the Sport package. Who makes these decisions? Strange...

Nit picky, but make it so the hood does not need a prop to keep it open.

The console stack, especially with a Navi system, is a little too intimitating at night with all the lights.

An easy improvement would be to turn off the lights for the Navi buttons if the Navi is closed.

Another suggestion would be slightly more room, but I guess they already have that. It is called the M35

How about power points that work even with the car off. Many car companies do it that way. Though many also do it like Nissan.

I agree with everyone that mentioned the front seats. There is no side support. I think the sport package, either 6MT or AT, should have come with a deeper style racing seat. At least the same as the Coupe.
Did the 05 improve on this?

Also, the oil dipstick, anything would be better than that thing.
