Here's a strange thread for you guys.

I am recovering from recent surgery and took my G out today for the first time in a couple of weeks. Drove it all over town doing errands for my wife. Anyway, to get to the point of the matter, as I was pulling up my street, the theme song from Apollo 13 (Eric Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops for those who care) randomly came on the Bose system. It's a bright sunny day and as I hit the garage door opener and slowly cruised into the darkened garage, my G's light automatically came on and I felt like I was docking a spaceship.

OK Now it's time for more pain meds

 

I feel ya, I have Houston control on my speeddial. On other occassions I find myself (doing a William Shatner imitation) yelling at Scottie "I need warp speed now Scottie!" while driving in 3rd gear at 65 then flooring the accelerator.

LOL! You guys crack me up... My personal favorite is when I pull into the garage JUST as a song ends and I turn off the car.

I like my custom titles [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img] Since I was GeoFreak before this, so now I'm Pooh Bau... it's only natural. I think I slipped into "Carpel Tunnel" post #s a few back, but I'm not eager to get a new title.

I wish 2001 A Space Odyssey would play when I pulled out of my garage. THEN I'd feel badarse.

500? Shebus. I can't think of any cool customs for Carpal Tunnel. What's ironic, is that I have CT and TOS. Anyone have TOS? It makes waxing a B*TCH.

What's TOS? Not familiar with that acronym.

I don't quite have carpel tunnel.. due largely in part to my switching to natural keyboards years ago when they first came out.

 

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. My clavical and first rib essentially pinch the artery, vain, and nerve running into both arms. Only happens when I lift my arm above 80 degrees, but it contributes to making my arm tired as F after only cutting a steak or waxing a door to my car. Sucks.
