Hey, watch the language, and remember that while you can express any opinion about the vehicle you desire, don't bash the people in the process. The 6MT v. 5AT flame war has already been done. We don't need another one.

Yeah, but you can still appreciate it's handling and tight turning radius!

Re: 6MT OR AUTO

I actually ordered an Auto initially, telling myself it was time to grow up and become more staid and respectable now that I'm 46 yrs old, blah, blah, blah (I've always had manuals, beginning with my first car in 1974 - a 1965 Impala SS 327 4BBl w/4Spd & posi).

Then, my wife tells me, I tossed and turned in my sleep for months afterwards while waiting for my car, babbling mostly undeciferable words, except the words "6 speed" were always involved, a recurring theme. Eventually, I found what I was looking for in a local dealer's inventory via the Internet (with a 6MT ), instead of the Auto I'd ordered. I cancelled my order, pulled the trigger on that 6MT, and I haven't enjoyed driving this much since I was 16 !!

If you like to drive, I mean really enjoy the feeling and sensation of being connected with, and in complete control of, your vehicle, then a 6MT G35 is hard to surpass. If you just enjoy driving a good handling, comfortable and luxurious, powerful and responsive sedan, then get the AT - either way, you win, as long as you make sure you are playing YOUR game (no compromises) !! - Enjoy! - DB
