lol, if you look at the 4th image on top you'll see the flange on the y-pipe to the cat on the passenger side is tilted in a certain degree. i didn't know it was different until i bought the cats for the RWD 4 years ago and put them on and was like... WTF!!! lol.

^^ Be sure to turn it right-side-up before installing on the Volvo. haha, j/k...

If that's your garage, you should DIY.

LOL thanks guys. Had the parts installed yesterday and I think it sounds great. It's just a little louder than stock and it has a nice sound when the car first starts up. I wanted to DIY (my buddy has an A/C garage) but I was talking to my brother and he was like "don't install it yourself! You're going to be picking up exhaust pieces off the side of the road!" so I got paranoid. Besides, the car needed some work so I took it to the stealer. New compression rods, belts, alignment and an oil change. Rides like new now, I thought I needed new struts or something.

I think it will work as a speeding deterrent too. I have to slow down when it gets too loud!

I'll post a pic when I get some time.

I do have some mods planned for the Volvo but they will be strictly cosmetic.

^ yes

The 05 OEM Muffler and the HKS, They sound very similar but the HKS sounds deeper and when just revving, and under load, the HKS is pure sex.

Edit: I just found out with cheap speakers they might sounds very similar, but if you have decent headphones through them on, the difference should be clear.

I know it seems like a weird questions, but I can't really tell from exhuast videos. Does this combo make a big difference? Is it alot louder? I'm thinking about this combo, but feel like i may be to close to stock sounding. What do you think? compared to stock exhaust?

It is a litle louder than stock. More of a deep tone than any thing else though.

Has any one posted a clip of the Motordyne VQ exhaust. I am seriously considering buying the entire Cat back system.
