I dont have a lot of money to go and buy a full catback system. So I figured might aswell just switch parts out like the midpipe and later on a hr y pipe.

I dont expect any performance gain from the midpipe, but if I switched the midpipe, the y pipe, and the muffler will there be any performance gain?
No real performance difference, remember you'll be using oem parts still. Your "butt dyno" might notice a difference if you go mid and HR-Y, but you'll be well pleased with the sound of the exhaust. Especially for the price. Its not gonna be loud, but it will sound niiiice.

^^^^

SSJRich, that sounds great!!

If I did not pick-up a complete '07 350Z cat back for $30 locally last night, I would be purchasing that Y-pipe.

For me, I'm sold on getting the Tanabe Medallion Y-back system on page 46 or 47 on this thread.

You mean no muffler? Because that would be loud!

No muffler is loud but not insanely loud. I have vids on my youtube (donpistovp). Two of them. And a third with no muffler and resonator delete on the y pipe

Yea no axle back. At the moment I'm just running Megan resonated test pipes, oem y-pipe, oem mid pipe and no muffler.

Plan on getting a test pipe but first I would like to know if it would make it insanely loud?
