What are some budget options for exhaust?

I'm not really looking for increased performance, my G is just my daily driver. I really just want to roll the windows down and hear a bit more of a throaty rumble when I gas it.

I know very little about exhaust, is there a single component I can install to get what I'm looking for?

I never got a chance to get a proper vid of it, and I won't have a chance to anymore now that the car has been sold. But it sounded very nice, I got complimented on the way it sounds all the time even though I drive around with the silencer on all the time. Without the silencer, it can be a bit loud, but the deepness of the exhaust tone helped make it sound and feel a lot quieter. IMO it sounds better than a lot of exhausts out there, and it only cost $700.

do you mean just the hr y on a stock exhaust, or in combination? when i did mine, it made a significant difference in tone of exhaust. sounded a bit throatier and slightly louder...definitely worth the install

Right now I have a stock exhaust. And im looking to get a coupe or Z midpipe on my sedan. the coupe mids are pretty hard to find in the classifieds. I found a Z midpipe with extension. and my question is, is it really worth it? Is the sound actually deeper than my 03 sedan midpipe?

I dont have a lot of money to go and buy a full catback system. So I figured might aswell just switch parts out like the midpipe and later on a hr y pipe.

I dont expect any performance gain from the midpipe, but if I switched the midpipe, the y pipe, and the muffler will there be any performance gain?

I have a mid pipe from an 05-06 sedan. It should give you a deeper tone that your 03. I can give you a good deal.
