for those wanting to do this but afraid of damaging the lenses. Your HID bulbs can reach temps over 100 degrees and you'll run those for hours on end if driving at night. These short bursts of heat will do no damage.

215 degrees at 12 minute intervals will get the sealant loose. Worry about melting your lights? Use a damp folded towel on a cookie sheet as the base for holding your light in the oven. The cookie sheet and wet towel will easily dissipate the heat for those short bursts in the oven. Keep a heat gun handy once you are ready to separate the lenses as it will help with cooling silicone.
