i use shiftronic so that makes me 1337!

 

Heres what I found out, I used to have a 2006 Eclipse GT automatic. I would rape 5AT's all day even when I was in shiftronic mode. Now that I have a 5AT, I can tell that the car in auto mode is WAY slower. But in shiftronic mode, it has A LOT of torque so maybe try manually shifting and see what happens. But yeah in auto mode...my car is slow too

 

lol anyone else notice that on a really cold day the manumatic refuses to shift to 5th for like 5 minutes of driving lol

 

OK question!!!! I have a 5AT also is manumatic actually faster than auto on a 1/4 mile? from a stop of coarse.

 

5AT is weaksauce. *will never return to this thread*.

 

I think Trey's Wife use to pull better times in the quarter mile using the shiftronic.

I like my slow 5AT

 

I guess im already screwed as far as picking my transmission.. :P ill add a grounding kit and add some placebo quick shifting.

 

My G runs 14.3s manually shifted and higher 14.6s letting it shift itself. I'll also add that my 14.3s are quicker than most stock 6MTs on this site, even a lot of the modded ones

 

 

If ghey infiniti would offer a stick AWD, i'd be driving that right now.
