I posted this over on another forum. Thought I would also post it at G35Driver in the sedan section...

I actually had a decent launch--my *only* good launch in three trips to the drag strip--but I missed 3rd gear and I think it cost me getting into the 12s. If I can consistently launch as good or better as I did on this run and not miss 3rd gear then I'm confident I can get into the mid-to-high 12s. BTW, if you listen carefully you can hear the chirp going into 4th gear

Great video of a great lookin' car that goes like hell!

Don't feel bad, the 3rd gear shift at full throttle is a bear - I've missed it a few times myself in my 2500 miles so far - it seems to be the tightest gate and most difficult shift to nail.

Congrats and great run. I did hear that quick chirp into 4th. With some more practice you should be into the 12's easily. What type and size of tires where you running?
