So how's this car now? How's that bumper holding up to everyday use? Do you yhinkits stronger than reg fiberglass. Resistance to flex without chipping or cracking. I'm thiking a bout this frot bumper so any input would be appreciated.

I've had this bumper on for a year, so far so good. I'm at stock height, and I don't use my front end to bump stuff lol, so yeah it's holding up alright. Got some paint chips from freeway driving, might be due to lack of a good layer of clear coat. Other than that it's good, no cracks or chipping. If you get it just make sure test fit it first, then give it a good prep / paint job. If you're local I might be able to help.

VIS has been around forever, and they have always been garbage, but you (and so many other ppl ) keep buying thier products, so they wont die.

If you HAVE to buy a copy, at least buy from a place like Hikkatadori, who makes items that arnt available, and takes the time to make them fit right.

Still holding up? About how much did you spend on paint/ paint per item? I'm getting a pretty broad number for estimates.

It's still holding up well, but could use a repaint. Originally paid about $700 for the front bumper and side skirts; not the best deal, but I was a noob so I took it as the price to learn. For repaint I'm getting estimates around $300 to $400. Does that sound too far?

I just got my VIS on eBay. luckily the guy lives 40 minutes from me so i picked it up for $175. Painting will run you $300 - $400 average.

Here's how mine turned out: so far so good.

Looks pretty clean. I can't really tell from the pic, but what year is yours 05/06? Since mines 04 I'll also be painting the black sides and rear valence, I'm still playing with different options...

^Nope. That would be an 03/04.
Not a single ridge hood, and doesn't have the tale-tale "rings" on the headlight bezels.

I need to do my sides and rear valence as well... i was hoping to score the aero back lip but don't think that will happen anytime soon.
