Re: considering M45

We test drove an M45 before we bought the G. It's a nice car but the G has more rear seat room. The new M45 is very tempting

Thats a pic of the 05 interior, not the 04.

Re: considering M45

The current M45 looks like a lame duck and look a whole lot like the 96-00 Q45 especially from the side. Wait or keep the G.

lol "uncomfy." it's a pic i got from the "other cars" forum. 2005 interior. heh, looks like infiniti wants to keep their seat controls there, despite that thread on uncomfortable seats.

Re: considering M45

Last 2 times in for service I got a loaded M45 loaner. The exterior styling doesn't come close to the G, but I like the extra features inside. Like the air-conditioned seats that really work! I enjoyed the nav, the voice activation was okay but tiresome. Didn't have a chance to try the laser cruise control.

What I really liked was the feel and sound of the V8. Unless they can shoebox it into the 06 G (who knows - it could happen) I will definitely look at the restyled M when we look at trading our G in a couple of years.

P.S. The Infiniti dealer here on Vancouver Island is awesome -- they treat you like your special every time you go in for service!

Re: considering M45

Havn't spent a lot of time in the seats yet, but its sort of cool that if you want to move the passenger seat its right at your finger tips

The New M45 to come out will not have such big discounts because they WILL sell well.

Current M45; The dealer always has a black one with tints and factory chromes. it looks sick, id pimp it. Interior just like the Q, V8, but doesn't handle as well as the G

G35x finally here! Black on graphite, premium, spoiler

G35Girl: I'm truly sick of the whining slobs that should seek medical attention combined with a proper diet rather than b!tching about the "uncomfy" seats in the G35.

People that morbidly obese should NOT place the blame on a car for their inability to stop being so damn fat.

Re: considering M45

Thanks for the feedback, fellow G drivers. I've decided to hold off on the M45 and keep my G for several years...and then there may be some used '05 M45's out there !

While I like the idea of driving a car that blends in with the crowd (like the current M45 IMHO) yet will blow the doors off many a car if needed......I could not rationaloze buying an '04 when the '05 looks so sweet !
Thanks again, safe driving.
